Position Highlights:
Position: Manager, Sterile Processing
Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL
Full time (1.0 FTE)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
What you will need:
One to three years of previous management experience
A minimum of two years of CSP experience
Certification or registration in Sterile Processing
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a health care related field
What you will do:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department by directing department activities related to the central storage, processing and distribution of medical and surgical supplies and equipment used in the care and treatment of patients. In doing so, oversees handling, sterilization, and packaging of medical and surgical items to ensure cleanliness of items. Ensures established aseptic standards are followed in order to minimize potential for spread of infection and/or disease. Develops and implements budgets, policies, and procedures in order to reach established goals.
