One of the largest pillars in our Tax practice is our Federal Tax team who have a deep specialization in tax consulting and compliance services for pass through entities (partnerships, S corps). In many cases, our Tax professionals manage day-to-day client service relationships, and as such, serve as the gateway to a variety of specialized tax services that help to improve compliance with taxing entities, while maintaining each client's overall tax risk profile. Due to our tremendous growth we're seeking a Senior Director to join our team.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Senior Director within Federal Tax you will:

  • Lead the tax compliance process for partners estimates, extensions and annual compliance filings for pass through entities
  • Lead tax-planning for pass through clients and advise clients on tax implications of their business objectives
  • Participate in tax-planning for pass through clients and advise clients on tax implications of their business objectives
  • Lead special projects in specific technical areas such as tax basis balance sheets, capital account maintenance, tax distribution calculations, and structuring opportunities
  • Establish long term consultative relationships with clients by understanding their business, their unique circumstances, offering proactive support , and timely execution of projects



  • Build, manage, direct and monitor multiple client engagements teams while maintaining active communication with clients in an effort to manage expectations and help ensure client satisfaction
  • Manage risk, staffing and financial performance for multiple engagements at once including billing, collections, profitability and project budgets
  • Provide supportive leadership by providing development and career guidance through mentoring and performance feedback to your team. You will drive your team to stay up to date in tax law changes and apply the most current and innovative tax practices in order to create and sustain a respected reputation in the market
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion across all aspects of the practice
  • Build relationships across Tax and the rest of A&M. Develop a deep understanding of the areas of expertise across the firm in order to present clients with opportunities for additional support



  • Actively pursue business development opportunities and prioritize where and how to source new relationships
  • Regularly m eets with contacts to discuss broad business issues and provide insight regarding how Tax and A&M can help address their critical business issues
