About the Role:
The opportunity: Our CTO organization includes a team of Technical Strategy leaders that bring outstanding ideas, the ability to execute, and teamwork to a strategic, high future impact organization. The primary responsibility of this role is to help develop the company’s roadmap, technical vision, and strategy for CrowdStrike’s Developer Ecosystem around Fusion, Foundry, Marketplace and future products that customers and partners can build on.
This role requires deep technical knowledge of how to execute on a developer-led platform strategy, expand our ecosystem, and create incentives to ensure Customers and Partners realize positive outcomes. This role reports our CTO, Proactive Security
What You'll Do:
With your extensive platform background and your ability to think and operate at a strategic level, you will drive CrowdStrike’s technical vision and strategy
Represent the overall CrowdStrike brand to the Developer persona to all of our external users, partnering with teams across the company to demonstrate the capabilities and implementation of our suite of products
Develop and own the developer narrative internally and externally on how our products help to solve developer’s problems
Create momentum and drive adoption of the platform through your interactions with developers building applications and businesses on Falcon
Champion CrowdStrike’s developer products in person and online by presenting at conferences, events and meetups
Build inspiring demos, sample apps that demonstrate the functionality of CrowdStrike’s products for both technical and non-technical audiences
Coach and support CrowdStrikers on the delivery of compelling technical demos and presentations at events or internally
Working with Product Management and Engineering to make key decisions on short/medium term roadmap as well as long term multi-year strategy
Engaging with field sales, strategic accounts, customer success, and other stakeholders to research product ideas, pain points, obstacles, and market opportunities
Using stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to the product
Help develop frameworks for aggregating multiple sources of information to streamline and expedite data driven decision making
Maintaining an in depth knowledge of the industry, competitors, and related developments, to ensure we continue to be innovative thought leaders
Providing support to the wider CTO organization including the Falcon Fund, Data Science and Architecture teams, as well as the broader CrowdStrike organization as needed
What You’ll Need:
15+ years of experience in a Developer Relations, Software Engineering, or related
Ability to build, test, and ship working code for a variety of applications
Creative, empathetic, communicative, and clever
Confident and comfortable presenting to different types of audiences, large and small
Adept skills communicating technically complicated topics simply and elegantly
Strong hands-on developer who is comfortable with full-stack development
Built full-scale demos of products that demonstrate their capabilities and inspire your users
