POSITION SUMMARY:
The Post Acute Wound Care Region Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and market share of post-acute wound care products in the assigned region. This role entails leading a sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions (ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES):
Sales Strategy and Execution:Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities.
Prepare and manage sales forecasts and budgets. 
Team Management:Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of distributors, and 1099 sales representatives.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance the sales team's effectiveness.
Organize and facilitate training programs on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance. 
Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including post-acute care facilities, long-term care centers, and healthcare professionals.
Conduct regular meetings and presentations to customers to understand their needs and promote product solutions.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns. 
Market Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's products and services.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the region. 
Reporting and Analysis:Track and analyze sales performance metrics and generate reports for senior management.
Use sales data to identify trends, assess performance, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Provide insights and feedback on market conditions, customer preferences, and product performance.
Qualifications:
ExperienceProven experience in sales management, preferably in the wound care or medical device industry.
In-depth knowledge of post-acute wound care products and the healthcare market.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the region. 
EducationBachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is advantageous. 
General Skills/Competencies/Specialized KnowledgeStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
TravelFrequent travel within the assigned region is required.
The role may involve attending patient care settings to provide product support and demonstrations.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet customer requirements.
