Your responsibilities
As a Machine Operator you will report to your Production Team Leader and be responsible for safely and efficiently operating equipment used to machine Crankshafts.
You will be trained to operate CNC and other equipment used in the machining of Crankshafts.
You will inspect parts to ensure quality specifications are met.
You will identify and correct defects.
You will be responsible for keeping your machine clean and notifying maintenance of any machine issues.
Your profile
Required:
Proficient in English Language.
Ability to perform repetitive work.
Walking in a manufacturing setting with multiple stairs and inclines; standing for long periods of time.
High School Diploma or GED.
We Prefer:
1-5 years of previous manufacturing experience and operating heavy machinery.
Excellent mechanical skills.
Technical knowledge.
Ability to manage product flow and handle time constraints.
Ability to follow step-by-step procedures and work instructions.
Ability to pay great attention to detail and identify defects.
Basic mathematical ability.
Excellent communication ability.
Ability to use and interpret various gauges.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of machine maintenance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
