Job Duties and Responsibilities

The National Operations Manager (NOM) is a managerial support role for a region which provides regional representation for all national operations initiatives, new business rollout, and manager development. As a role unencumbered with direct reports, the NOM operates with flexibility to support the Regional Director and Region Managers as needed. The NOM leverages their operations experience to impact change where needed and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Triage – needs based – immediate & potentially sustained on-site support (severe process, performance issues)

+ Development – new(er) leaders and/or offices with performance gaps (cost, execution, process) that will benefit from additional on-site & remote support; some will require in-market travel along with continued follow-up phone support, and repeat travel as needed; others may be purely remote supplemental to what the Regional Director and/or Region Manager are doing

+ Support – new(er) leaders w/strong support structure (eg new OM in a market w/performing RM), introduction, offer of support, availability as a resource

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree coupled with five plus years related District/Regional Operations experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered; a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required

Additional requirements:

+ Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills

+ Flexible; able to manage responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth oriented and time-critical environment, across a given market (500+ indirect reports)

+ Ability to travel 50-75% of the time

+ Ability to respond, interact, and collaborate with all levels of the organization

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $110,110.00/Year – $157,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role’s location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
