We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director Data & Analytic Product Portfolio to help with the transformation of our data landscape. This role will be instrumental in building a unified Person 360 data strategy across our diverse business, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of our critical data assets.

This role is accountable for managing a portfolio of products within the data and analytics organization for the enterprise. The incumbent will lead and manage product teams through their development lifecycle and will operate in alignment with the etnerprise strategy, customer needs and market trends. The incumbent will oversee the creation of product roadmaps and will ensure that product owners are delivering features and capabilities as defined by the roadmaps.

The incumbent will be accountable for ensuring that products are usable, useful, and used. In doing so, they will ensure that product portfolios include features that support a positive user experience.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.

+ Responsible for managing the development and maintenance of a data & analytic product portfolio. Tracks product use cases, defines and monitors product KPIs, and coordinates with product owners to ensure product feature and capability delivery to roadmap. Sets remedial action for underperforming products (outside specific customer incidents).

+ Responsible for setting data and analytic product strategy in alignment with overall strategy, our capabilities and capacity, and market conditions. Defines product lifecycle criteria, selects areas to expand or contract product range, guides consolidation of existing products and reconciles the integration of data & analytics capabilities with other capabilities across the enterprise.

+ Responsible for leading complex initiatives which impact the portfolio. Oversees creation of and ensures alignment to a shared roadmap with all stakeholders. Coordinates with product owners and other stakeholders in the delivery of the roadmap.

EDUCATION

Required

+ Master’s Degree in a STEM field, Social Science or Business

Substitutions

+ Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field or Social Science with 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of Master’s Degree

Preferred

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

+ Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Required

+ 5 years in data management, analytics, or product leadership

+ 5 years in a leadership role (either management or equivalent organizational impact)

+ 3 years of consulting and/or working with senior leaders

Preferred

+ 3 years in the healthcare industry

+ 3 years building, designing or delivering products

+ 3 years in leading enterprise master data management programs

+ Proven experience in leading and managing Master Data Management initiatives, including strategy development, implementation, and ongoing optimization.

+ Deep understanding of modern MDM tooling and technologies, including Informatica MDM, Ref360, DataBricks, and Google Cloud Platform.

+ Experience with advanced analytics techniques and knowledge graphs, including their application in MDM.

+ Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.

+ Proven ability to lead and manage product teams, including product roadmapping, feature development, and product lifecycle management.

+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Pay Range Minimum:

$126,400.00

Pay Range Maximum:

$233,700.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
