The National Account Manager is responsible for increasing revenue and Alpine share through named national accounts by developing and executing strategic plans for each account.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Accountable for developing and executing plans for relationship management, retention and organic growth opportunities within existing and future key accounts.

+ Develops, maintains and sustains effective business relationships with high-profile, key accounts to drive high levels of customer satisfaction.

+ Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including software support, equipment sales and service, engineering service and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customer’s expectations.

+ Offers a total business solution to Key Accounts that will incorporate Alpine’s complete product and service offerings.

+ Establishes and develops a culture of consultative selling to the customers’ decision-makers at all levels. Presents brand advantages, competitive weaknesses and improvement opportunities. Instills confidence utilizing respect, integrity, and a strong level of commitment.

+ Identifies opportunities for organic growth by completing in-depth customer business profiles. Leads the total solution effort that incorporates Alpine’s complete product and service offering that best addresses customer needs while meeting performance objectives. Requires a deep understanding of the customer’s business, systems and processes that touch products and capabilities.

+ Negotiates and closes new strategic accounts; transitions customers to appropriate sales team at point of sale.

+ Bachelor’s degree in business or similar discipline required

+ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience specifically in strategic sales with national and regional builders, architects, engineers, and/or lumber yards

+ A demonstrated track record of strategic thinking and increasing sales through market penetration

+ Requires comprehensive knowledge of Alpine products and services; building industry experience preferred

+ Experience selling sophisticated technical products desirable

+ Comprehensive knowledge of Alpine Software Suite, Equipment and Service products

+ Demonstrated success utilizing value added selling techniques

+ Strong account management and project management skills

+ Demonstrated strategic thinking and business development skills

+ Financial acumen to assess market opportunities and analyze financial results

+ Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate and present information to all levels of the organization

+ Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, internally and externally

+ Up to 50% travel required to sites throughout North America
