Sales Compensation Manager

Job Description

+ Owns design, implementation, and governance of sales incentive plans across enterprise.

+ Implements structure and processes to enable a high-performing sales organization in support of the company’s strategic objectives.

+ Leads annual sales incentive plan design and implementation process.

+ Ensures that all sales incentive plans are implemented and administered consistently through defined performance metrics.

+ Coordinates with business leaders and functional stakeholders such as Finance, Accounting, and HR as needed to ensure plan effectiveness.

+ Develops and implements a structured analytics and modeling framework that drives effective use of organizational capital in compensating and motivating the sales organization.

+ Ensures that all governance processes related to sales incentive plans are SOX compliant.

+ Manages the performance of direct or indirect reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.

+ University degree (equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in Finance, General Business, Sales or a related field

+ 8+ years experience in Sales Compensation

+ 3+ years in a people leadership role

+ Extensive experience with business process creation and maintenance.

+ Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and sales performance data and calculate the financial impact on sales opportunity.

+ Extensive experience with a sales performance management systems and sales incentive plans.

+ Strong project management skills.
