Summary:
The Business Loan Credit Delivery Leader manages the workflow of customer credit requests submitted to the Portfolio Monitoring and Management team, being an advocate for the markets served, and acting as a liaison for specific and global credit issues in a fast paced environment.
The Business Loan Credit Delivery Leader:
+ Manages the workflow of customer credit requests and/or portfolio management efforts submitted to the Huntington Loan Center, while being an advocate for the markets served, and acting as a liaison for specific and global credit issues in a fast-paced environment.
+ Reviews loan structures, acts as mentor/coach to portfolio monitoring analysts and underwriters
+ Approves loan requests directly or may concur on underwriter decisions.
+ Identifies deteriorating credits, recommends downgrades and communicates with the RCO, BLC management & FRG as needed.
+ Participates in calls, manages daily work assignment for Portfolio Monitoring Team (compliance, production and volume).
+ Manage line of business financial statement exceptions and reporting
+ Typically, would have a $3.0 million or greater in loan authority.
+ May manage projects or processes to improve overall accuracy or efficiency in the Huntington Loan Center
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience underwriting business/commercial credits in a banking environment
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Expert understanding of Velocity/AFS/Huntington Credit Policy & other HNB systems
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
+ Experience with SBA or other government guaranteed loan programs.
+ Excellent analytical skills
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and logically document loan decisions
+ PC and Internet proficiency (Word, Excel, Moody’s Financial Analyzer)
