+ Role Summary : Dynamic, analytical role involving a combination of accounting, financial analysis, treasury, data analysis, operational process design, and project management support. This role will be on a small but growing Finance team, which supports a wide range of human services consulting and operational engagements. This role will act as the Fiscal Project Lead for two large state-funded grant management projects. Within these projects, the role will lead, analyze, organize and report grant application and payment disbursement data. The role will own the associated treasury functions to distribute funds directly to grant recipients. This role will also design and execute required compliance audits or monitoring procedures related to public funds usage. Key Responsibilities:

+ Develops and implements financial process workflows for payments and grant funds distribution, such as assisting with grant program initialization, testing, and quality assurance to ensure adherence to project policies and procedures.

+ Leads all analysts which support project work.

+ Facilitates both internal and client-facing project status calls.

+ Creates and reviews payment batches for bulk ACH import into banking system, produces notices to recipients, and tracks all ongoing disbursements.

+ Creates monthly project invoices for delivery to clients.

+ Completes monthly and project-end bank reconciliations.

+ Owns and maintains all finance-related project reporting requirements.

+ Develops and improves quality control procedures over payment data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and internal consistency among various data sources.

+ Provides clear, thorough, and consistent analysis on potential fiscal project risks.

+ Leads development of efficiencies in existing finance and operational processes.

+ Designs and executes auditing and monitoring plans for grant distributions.

+ Prepares and presents reports to team members and clients as needed.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, public administration or related field required.

Certification:

CPA preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years accounting or financial analysis experience.

High level of leadership, organizational skills, time management, and accountability.

Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $75,050-95,000 and a potential discretionary bonus of up to 10 %

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role below. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
