About The Role:

As a CBRE Strategic Occupancy Planner, you will provide space planning, data mining/analysis, reporting, and interpretation of space planning metrics in an effort to provide recommendations and proposed solutions for a client’s occupancy needs.

This job is part of the Workplace & Occupancy Planning function. They are responsible for strategic and tactical planning for clients, with a focus on office-administrative space within their portfolio.

What You’ll Do:

+ Identify key insights based on data analysis and visualization for compelling presentations / reports

+ Develop compelling narrative based on data analysis and visualization for persuasive presentations / reports

+ Build occupancy reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior client leadership

+ Analyze space requirements and provides conceptual space plans and recommendations to real estate team(s) and/or partners.

+ Prepare block or stack plan(s); charter(s) and move lists.

+ Produce drawings and presentations for internal stakeholder(s) and client facing steering committee meetings (Workplace Managers, Business Unit Directors, Leadership, etc.) for review and feedback; involves project management staff as appropriate for move and construction services

+ Create, maintain, and review quality of drawings (architectural, furniture)

+ Proactively maintain accurate space data in CAFM/IWMS system, highlight and resolve any anomalies

+ Collaborate with other team members to gain business intelligence. Responsible for occupancy data within the system of record. May be required to lead space walks for validation and update of occupancy metrics

+ Partner with other departments on move and relocation sequencing and execution. Liaise with Change Management teams as needed.

+ Make recommendations to Management on necessary space planning code changes and/or requirements and updates.

+ Attend client meetings to collect requirements, present findings and recommendations. Acquire approvals to proceed when required.

+ Act as a single point of contact for relevant systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions.

+ Other duties may be assigned.

What You’ll Need:

+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Professional Registration in Architecture or Interior Design preferred. Certification in Corporate Real Estate, LEED or Facilities Management preferred.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD.

+ Experience with CAFM/IWMS programs highly preferred.

+ Familiar with system furniture design and modular furniture while demonstrating knowledge and adherence to building regulations and health & safety guidelines.

+ Ability to use existing procedures to tackle standard problems.

+ Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

+ Social skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

+ Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

+ Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Strategic Occupancy Planner is $100,000 annually and the maximum is $115,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
