Job Summary:

Implements organizational change initiatives that enable the organization to achieve greater performance.

What You Will Do:

- Conducting needs analysis and impact assessment to determine the most effective approach for implementing change.

- Providing consultation and recommendations to stakeholders to manage organizational change.

- Influencing and leading people to adoption of the organization’s change initiatives to attain business results.

- Carrying out organizational change programs and activities and ensuring consistent and timely execution of change implementation plans.

Providing leadership, coaching, direction, and guidance on organization change management processes and techniques

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree

What Skills You Will Have:

Organizational Change Mgmt:

- Works with team to identify and remove obstacles to change.

- Plans, implements, and manages change in a variety of significant settings.

- Monitors effectiveness of the change effort including extent of acceptance.

- Translates the desired organizational traits to tactical steps and procedures.

- Communicates impact of changes.

- Evaluates impact of changes outside across the organization.

Orchestrate with partners to create and execute a comprehensive change communication program, learning program and rewards program.

Organizational Change Management certification preferred, not required.

Conflict Management:

- Identifies and maximizes areas of agreement in order to mitigate tensions.

- Facilitates reconciliation rather than divisiveness among individuals.

- Under guidance, appropriately confronts others to get issues out in the open.

- Uses active listening skills and probing techniques to understand cause of a conflict.

Dealing with Disorder:

- Demonstrates an ability to respond, with guidance, in the face of VUCA.

- Participates in making decisions and carries out tasks in the absence of complete information.

- Tolerates a limited amount of risk and uncertainty.

- Follows guidelines in addressing new situations with no familiar cues or precedents.

- Shifts gears and changes course as new information becomes available.

Influencing:

- Develops basic persuasive arguments.

- Discusses organizational culture around providing input on decisions.

- Uses active listening skills and probing techniques to surface opportunities to influence.

- Identifies who the decision makers are and how they receive information.

- Regularly presents ideas or suggestions to associates in persuasive terms.

Relationship Management:

- Provides prompt and effective responses to client requests and interactions.

- Monitors client satisfaction levels on a regular basis.

- Alerts own team to problems in client satisfaction.

- Differentiates the roles and responsibilities in a business relationship.

- Works with clients to address critical issues and resolve major problems.

Communicating for Impact:

- Clarifies technical terminology to audiences; translates it in an easy to understand manner.

- Advises others on tailoring the message to adapt to others’ cultures and perspective, especially when communicating with globally diverse audiences.

- Reconciles disparate information across the organization to create a holistic message.

- Interprets business plans or solutions to top management to gain both collective intelligence and support.

- Coaches others on improving their own communication methods and techniques.

- Stays informed on proven best practices for effective listening and communication skills.

Planning and Organizing:

- Updates stakeholders on potential changes; re-negotiates requirements as necessary.

- Identifies the critical goals and tasks required to meet daily objectives.

- Develops contingency plans or to improve processes and to avoid problems before they occur.

- Evaluates linkages and interrelationships when prioritizing multiple responsibilities.

- Manages conflicting priorities effectively.

- Tracks the implementation of plans closely to ensure that desired outcomes are achieved.

Additional Information

The location for this position is Mossville, IL.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

This position will require less than 10% travel.
