Our Animal Health Strategy and Business Channel Customer Operations and Pricing Team provides support to all U.S. Commercial business units by leading the enablement and integrity of all customer accounts and pricing operations. The team is responsible for managing customer data end-to-end and for all go-to-market pricing guidance, coordination, and oversight. The Customer Operations team manages and maintains customer accounts and pricing via SAP and via various data intake systems and processes to ensure all customers can make sales orders for the right price at the right time.

We are seeking a Customer Operations and Pricing Specialist to support the growth of our business, specifically enabling growth of customers, products, and price points. This individual is detail-oriented and possesses a growth mindset and intellectual curiosity to manage daily workflow and concurrently drive more efficient and effective longer-term processes e.g., customer account automation, pricing system enhancements and customer and pricing-related process efficiencies in support of our Strategic Operating Priorities.

Summary, Focus and Purpose

The Customer Operations and Pricing Specialist is responsible for day-to-day customer account activity and the continued development of all customer data intake processes as well as pricing systems and processes including PROS, coordination of pricing, discounting, and account data within SAP. This individual will support price list management, strategic account pricing rules including hierarchy relationships of customer accounts and helping to facilitate all pricing data checks and balances.

Various initiatives include:

+ Maintain accurate prices for all our company’s Animal Health Products

+ Ensure that SAP reflects accurate customer gross and net pricing

+ Ensure pricing source of truth and auditable pricing approvals history

+ Work with distribution partners and customers on any pricing discrepancy or questions

+ Maintain pricing rules and relationships for each customer account in SAP; help the business prepare for new account types and/or channels and help to simplify our system operations

+ Maintain compliance with all business practices

+ Create, maintain, update pricing (account agreements, marketing programs, contract-based pricing)

+ Maintain account hierarchies

+ Ensuring compliance and engage in audit-related processes

+ Manage ad hoc projects as necessary to support the business

Required Education

+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or similar required (applicants with pending degrees will be considered, but degree must be completed prior to starting with our Company)

Required Experience | Skills | Knowledge

Organizational Skills

+ Self-starter and be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a matrix organization.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills balanced with a creative mindset

+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to proactively communicate via phone, virtual video meetings and/or in person meetings and at all organizational levels

+ Strong project management, prioritization, multi-tasking ability, and business planning skills

+ Ability to work independently and within a team and proactively coordinate the resolution of highly complex business problems

+ An innovative spirit, willingness to learn, can-do attitude, and strong sense of customer service

Technical Skills

+ Experience with SAP desired; particularly Order to Cash Pricing, Customer Master, and Material Master

+ Experience with PROS or another pricing system desired

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products: Word (e.g., process documentation), Excel (e.g., data analysis and data discovery), and PowerPoint (e.g., summary of key issues for organizational communication and alignment).

+ Remote-based. Preference to candidates local to our Rahway, NJ or Lenexa, KS, or Omaha, NE office locations.
