We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Enterprise Aftermarket Decision Support team. This opportunity fills a role that directly supports our enterprise services growth goals. This role will provide valuable insights to support of our services growth initiatives.

What You Will Do:

+ Provide valuable insights to Commercial Vice Presidents. Directly impact Caterpillar’s business, strategy, and growth.

+ Serve as the investment analysis financial lead for cross-functional services growth project teams

+ Advisecomponent and service divisions on aftermarket investment analysis, ensuring consistency and adherence to Caterpillar policies and procedures

+ Services growth portfolio management

+ Providing financial guidance on cross-functional or business unit product teams?

+ Providing discounted cash flow support to services development teams

+ Developing methodology and providing education to accounting and?cross-functional teams?

+ Communicating / consulting to broader (worldwide) audience on business support issues

+ Drive behavior (ability to influence management directions) in accordance with financial targets and business unit / division / enterprise strategy

+ Presentation and explanation of results to management

+ Developing enhanced digital capabilities for aftermarket business analyses

+ Participate as a leader or team member on special projects

+ Collaborate and grow your network

+ Grow your leadership skillset

What You Have:

+ Education/Experience: Bachelor’s?Degree in Accounting and 6+ years of accounting experience

+ Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision

+ Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems

+ Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment

+ Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors

+ Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

+ Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.

+ Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintainaccurate and thorough financial reports.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

+ Familiarity with PowerBI

+ Experience in Project Management

Additional Info :

+ This position will be located inPeoria, IL

+ This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office

+ Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify

+ Sponsorship is not available

+ International and Domestic travel up to 5%
