Job Description

As a Systems Engineer, you will review and estimate customer requests, developing competitive technical solutions that address their needs. You will work in collaboration with other system engineers, customers, and cross-functional teams to validate and recommend solutions that meet requirements while respecting cost and schedule constraints. Your role involves understanding the challenges related to avionic systems design and ensuring they are addressed by your solutions. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software development teams to manage system requirements, validate, verify, and allocate them across various disciplines. You will be involved in all development phases including requirement analysis, verification of life cycle data, testing, and initial aircraft installations. You will also generate and review system specifications, technical manuals, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Hard Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on hardware integration

+ Proficiency in creating wiring diagrams, understanding pinouts, and managing requirements

+ Hands-on experience with qualification testing and compliance standards

+ Exposure to DOORS or similar requirements management tools

Soft Skills

+ Leadership skills

+ Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams

+ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Environment

This role is hybrid, with three days on-site and two remote days per week, typically working from home on Tuesday and Friday. This can fluctuate depending on project deadlines and software sprint schedules.
