Role: IT Project Manager

Location: Chicago IL or Denver CO

Term: 18 Month Contract

Top Skills:

-5+ years of Project Management experience

-Previous Banking/Financial Services experience

-Change Management experience

-Agile and Scrum experience

Summary:

Communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. PM should have experience managing Cloud Security projects. Agile and Financial experience also preferred. This role ensures execution and delivery meets the clients expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery.

Primary Level of Engagement: Works at program level under the supervision from a more senior domain expert or manager.

Primary Interactions: Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Manager, Release Train Engineer, Technology Manager, and Delivery Lead II

Responsibilities:

-Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on).

-Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams.

-Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables.

-Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.

-Gather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.

-Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.

-Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise -Change Management standards.

-Support resource planning for delivery/execution.

Qualifications:

-Agile Scrum Experience

-MS Project

-Technical Change Management (software/hardware deployments)

-Requires advanced understanding of the security business practices, and familiarity with the project management processes and controls

-Strong knowledge of financial services, cybersecurity products, services and technologies at a functional and data level.

-Cyber security policy, standards and project management process controls
