Job overview and responsibilities:

This technical Project Manager will manage complex technical projects and assist with technical tasks as needed. In addition to proven proficiency in handling project management duties, this Technical PM may take on tasks such as developing an API to deactivate unused software licenses or creating a query to pull data for a report.

· Work effectively across multiple workgroups to plan for resources and assignments

· Coordinates cross functionally to estimate project scope, tasks, and cost

· Manage project plans in a complex, dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements, tracking impact to budget and schedule

· Manages efforts to coordinate and support project delivery with the goal of meeting business objectives

· Able to align project work with business goals and measurable key metrics

· Create queries to pull data for analysis or reporting

· Identify and communicate status, issues, risks and mitigation plans

· Creates and presents effective project communication for stakeholders, including executive leaders

Qualifications

Required:

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field

· 7+ years of project management experience

· Familiarity with Agile concepts and planning

· Ability to track work items in Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira

· Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint and Excel

· Able to create reports in Power BI or AWS Quicksight

· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

· Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

· Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred:

· Airline industry experience

· Experience with Cyber Security

· Understanding of Cloud Technology

· Familiarity with tools used by software developers, such as Visual Studio and Artifactory

· Ability to create APIs, query SQL data and complete small technical tasks as needed

· Understanding of AI in business and how it can be applied within Digital Technology
