Job Description

A mid-sized Structural Engineering and Architecture firm in Chicago is looking to add a Project Architect to their team!

Job Description:

+ Collaborate with structural team and external project teams to ensure project needs are being met

+ Produce full construction document sets for projects

+ Take projects from construction documentation through construction administration

+ Assist with code research, analysis and compliance

+ Interact with clients on a regular basis

+ May mentor junior level team members if needed

+ May go on site visits when needed

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor of Science in Architecture is required

+ 6 or more years of traditional architecture experience required

+ Licensure is a plus

+ Experience working on parking structures is preferred; commercial/industrial/utility projects are transferrable

+ Experience producing full construction document sets

+ Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Suite and AutoCAD knowledge is required; InDesign and other rendering software knowledge is a plus

+ Knowledge of building codes
