Job Description:
Environmental Test Technician opening with an environmental consulting firm. As part of a team, the Environmental Test Technician will set up and perform air emissions testing and monitoring services for a variety of industrial clients. Entry-level position with opportunity for advancement. Field-based role. Candidates must be open to regional travel as required. Company vehicle provided, all travel time, per diem and expenses paid for by company.Responsibilities:
+ Perform air emissions testing and monitoring for a variety of industrial clients
+ Transport equipment to site using company vehicle, set up and break down of testing equipment
+ Record data, collect samples
+ Equipment calibrations
+ Assist engineers in air quality testing procedures
+ Environmental, health and safety protocols
+ Organize and load testing equipment into vehicles for upcoming jobs
+ Maintenance and cleaning of testing equipment
+ Using company resources, gain proficiency in performing EPA Test Methods 1-5
Qualifications:
+ B.S. in Environmental Science, Geology, or related
+ Ability to work well in team settings
