Job Title: Pharmacy Technician III

Job Description

+ Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician III, where you will assist the pharmacist with the practice of pharmacy in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and corporate/departmental policies and procedures.

+ Your role will involve accurately interpreting healthcare providers’ prescription orders, entering them into the core pharmacy system, and notifying the physician of any incomplete or incorrect prescription information.

+ You will also manage the patient adherence process, schedule medication deliveries according to guidelines, and assist in obtaining accurate verbal orders for product replacement.

+ Additionally, you will use internal and web tools to communicate with health insurance payors and providers to investigate benefits and transmit test claims to verify prescription coverage.

+ You will interact professionally with internal and external teams to ensure accurate service provision to patients and collaborate on varying tasks to support business priorities.

Work Environment

Flexibility is required as shift times may vary depending on staffing needs, Monday-Friday 10:30am to 7pm in the hours they are looking to fill. Overtime is offered and sometimes mandated depending on workload.
