As part of Zebra’s Supplies & Sensor Business Unit, this role will listen to customer needs and advise internal team of requirements during early customer engagements. They will offer best practices, identify compelling options, and liaise between the internal teams – RFID Quoting, RFID Project Manager, and the RFID Supplies BDM to deliver a solution that exceeds the customer’s expectations. Work is guided by Product Management. This position does require hybrid work in the Lincolnshire, IL office.

Responsibilities:

+ Serve as an RFID Supplies sales technical resource, addressing key capabilities related to the performance of Zebra’s RFID Supplies products and solutions in specific application scenarios

+ Acts as an advisor during early sales opportunities, providing information on best practices and positioning Zebra as a market leader

+ Communicate competently, clearly, and effectively during sales conversations, translating customer needs and operational capabilities for internal use

+ Manage a diverse set of customer projects along with RFID Supplies Project Manager to ensure completion in a timely manner

+ For high priority RFID Supplies opportunities, may be asked to assist Sales team/partners with deployment and/or testing on site at customer locations

+ Collaborates with Supplies R & D, Sales, Supplies & Sensors Product Managers, and the Supplies Operations team to execute and deliver RFID Supplies to meet customer needs

+ Provides critical technical RFID Supplies product feedback to R & D, sales, operations, and product teams

+ Understand and communicate Zebra’s RFID manufacturing capabilities to a technical and non-technical audience

+ Keep abreast and advise on RFID converting equipment to expand manufacturing capabilities to support large customer engagements

+ Review requirements with inlay suppliers and operations team to build customer options that meet the needs of the application at a winning price.

+ Works directly with inlay suppliers to identify potential options and configurations

+ Works with Supplies Estimating team to build and revise operational costing models

+ May be asked to assist with the development of RFID Supplies technical training and/or solution documentation

+ Helps build RFID Supplies product/solution demonstrations for internal and external events

+ Be curious and challenge – unafraid to challenge status quo with sales or operational audience

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline

+ Capability to understand and learn different programming languages

+ 2+ years of technical RFID media/supplies application experience

+ Experience working in a customer-facing role

+ Experience working with sales organizations

+ Experience working on cross-functional teams

+ Comfortable presenting in front of an internal and external audiences

+ The power to build credibility, both internally within the organization and within Zebra’s partners and customers

Preferred:

+ Experience working in the AIDC channel community

+ Experience working with RFID chip and inlay suppliers

+ Experience working with RFID supplies production and operations

+ Experience working with internal supply chains

Salary: USD 82500.00 – USD 123700.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
