Job Title: Bookkeeper
Job Description
Seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Bookkeeper to manage and oversee daily accounting tasks. Responsibilities include posting payables, applying cash, tracking and managing receivables, invoicing, handling payroll through Paychex, and paying bills. The successful candidate will also assist with financials and cash flow reporting, providing advice and maintaining stability in a dynamic environment.
Hard Skills
+ 3+ years of bookkeeping experience (8+ years preferred)
+ High level understanding of accounting processes
+ Experience in handling a high volume of invoices (300-500 weekly outbound, 100+ inbound)
Soft Skills
+ Flexibility
+ Ability to thrive in dynamic, chaotic environments
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Capability to build trust and advise sr management
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Lake Forest, Illinois.
Work Environment
Fully in-office position with flexible hours, Monday to Friday. The office environment is lively and can be noisy. The role involves consistent interaction with upper management, including the VP of Finance and the CFO, along with regular engagement with the CEO and President.
