Position Summary:

Responsible for processing compliant and accurate conventional, FHA, VA and USDA secondary as well as in-house mortgage files and construction loan files as received from the loan originators. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Prepares and delivers all appropriate regulatory compliant disclosures.
  2. Reviews all needed documents and information from originators or sales associate and outside sources for processing: Verifications (employment, deposit, rent), Appraisals, Title Commitments, Flood Certifications and any other documents as needed).
  3. Submits loan for underwriting.
  4. Receives loan file from underwriting; updates all required information per underwriter conditions.
  5. Gathers all needed information for closing: Homeowners Insurance, Payoffs, Deeds, or any other documents as needed.
  6. Maintains communication with Loan officer and Sales Associate through the entire loan process.
  7. Coordinates closings with the loan officer and sales associate.
  8. Monitors weekly pipeline report.
  9. Prepares loan files for withdrawal and/or denial.

Technical: Knowledge of mortgage lending procedures and regulations.  Knowledge of personal computer usage, Microsoft software, and general office equipment. Familiar with Jack Henry and Mortgage Bot.       

Position Performance Standards:

Initial disclosures to be disclosed within TRID guidelines daily

Requests and monitoring of third party documents within 48 hours

Review and communicate conditions to Loan Officer and Sales Assistant within 24 hours

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of 1 year of banking experience; mortgage banking experience is preferred.  

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This job operates in a clerical office setting.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  This position requires manual dexterity.  While performing the duties of this Job, the Team Member is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
