Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your Responsibilities:
The Logistics Manager plays a vital role in the supply chain team by providing strategic leadership and continuous improve-ment of the processes for ensuring on-time delivery to our customers. Key functions include:
Champion the design and implementation of an optimized multiple-site distribution network.
Develop and rollout consistent processes among warehouses; with a focus on on-time delivery, quality, inventory, and distribution spend
Ability to establish relationships with all levels of an organization, while gaining and maintaining credibility.
Qualifications we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business is preferred. 5+ years of experience in similar role.
Broad experience across multiple modes of transportation (truckload, LTL, Intermodal/Rail) in inbound and outbound op-erations, third party transportation.
Data-driven, fact-based decision maker. Strong collaboration skills and high integrity.
Experience overseeing inventory management, delivery/logistics, regulatory compliance, productivity improvement, plan-ning and organization. Familiar with concept of standardized goals & metrics, measurement of quantifiable KPIs.
Highly organized, detailed orientated and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment (accuracy, timeliness, reliability, adaptability, and responsiveness).
People leadership skills - recruit, mentor, develop and retain talent. 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
5-7 years of experience in terminal routing transportation and demonstrated ability to minimize freight costs through lane analysis and configuration. Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, best practices, and procedures.
Advanced computer skills including Excel and Word including the ability to analyze large amounts of data and organize the information to make/implement changes to improve our processes. Extensive familiarity with TMS & WMS (SAP pre-ferred) systems.
Able to openly communicate on all levels of management, customers and carriers.
Experience with hazardous material and working knowledge of DOT/IATA guidelines and regulations.
Ability to travel 10-20%.
