What You'll Do

Manages processing Davis Bacon / Prevailing Wage Certified Payroll.
Responsible for managing team that ensures fringe rate calculations included in wage rates.
Partners with construction team, legal, and accounting/finance team to ensure proper and accurate processing of payrolls.
Manage blended prevailing wage hours, as well as state to state prevailing wage laws.
Audit responsibilities include reconciliation of monthly and pay period payroll reports.
Ensures compliance in completing all paperwork including all federal, state and local laws regarding payroll administration, prevailing wage and certified reporting.
Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures as they relate to certified payroll.
Analyzes current certified payroll policies and procedures and recommend best practices for efficiency and accuracy.
Support locations on fringe rates for certified payroll and for assist on locations on registrations.
Controlled Insurance Program reporting.
Provides guidance, training, and support to Certified Payroll team staff.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements:
Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Knowledge of Davis Bacon and Labor Laws preferred
Minimum Experience: 5+ years payroll, accounting, and/or financial experience
Preferred Experience (but not required)
Previous supervisory
Federal Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Certified Professional
California Prevailing Wage Certified Professional for Contractors (LCP tracker)
