We are looking to hire a Director, Data Strategy to join ournewly formed Data Strategy and Stewardship team within the Product organization.This team will be instrumental in shaping the organization's data landscape.Job Description
As the Director, Data Strategy, your responsibilities will focus on the data strategy of the overall NIQ business. Here are the key aspects of the role:
Data Strategy and Vision:
Assess the current data landscape at NIQ from input sources to finished goods data products.
Develop strategies to diversify data inputs, unlock new business opportunities through data, and improve the overall ROI of investments in data.
Develop and implement data strategies aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align data initiatives with business goals.
Break Down Data Silos: Foster collaboration across teams to improve data sharing.Qualifications
At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in Product, Data Strategy/Management, Analytics, Customer Success or a similar function.
Thorough understanding of business and data strategy.
Strong technical expertise in data management and analytics.
Ability to think strategically, analyze trends, and translate insights into actionable plans.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to exert influence across cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.
Ability to synthesize and communicate complex information in simple terminology.
Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with global teams across multiple markets.
