Dreamweaver Web Production Artist-eBooks
6 Month contract
PART-TIME 25-30 HOURS PER WEEK, MUST BE AVAILBLE DURING BUSINESS HOURS
FULLY REMOTE-MUST BE LOCATED IN CST OR EST ZONE TO BE CONSIDERED!
Our client is a 100-year-old publishing company for print and digital instructional materials for Career and Technical Education and Health and Wellness Education. They are looking for someone to work PART-TIME hours to assist in the Digital Production Department. This department builds and delivers eBooks in various formats which follow specific processes and specifications. This person will be coordinating InDesign files that are sent to vendors to create Ebook files. The vendor will then send the completed files back and it will be the responsibility of this individual to ensure everything has been done. This includes: checking links, formatting, making sure there are no breaks, checking CSS. This individual will also be modifying HTML code using Dreamweaver, NOT CODING FROM SCRATCH. This requires strong technical skills, the ability to maintain established product schedules, and capacity to follow detailed quality assurance testing practices.
Must be able to collaborate with all members of the Digital Production team to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality digital content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain schedules and deadlines and provide regular project progress communication on assigned digital projects.
Use authoring applications, CSS, and HTML templates provided to create and edit ePub products.
Perform quality assurance testing on every product you produce to verify quality and fidelity of the content and delivery format.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or associate degree with concentration in web programming or related curriculum required.
Must be proficient with Dreamweaver, Microsoft Applications, Adobe Creative Suite, and willing to learn new applications and platforms.
Experience with HTML, CSS, Adobe, and Dreamweaver - ideally with eBooks.
Understanding of PC operating systems and software on web-based applications.
Strong teamwork, communication and time management
Experience with online products for education is a plus!
