Position Overview

 

The Enterprise Command Center (ECC) Systems Administrator will be responsible for further developing and enhancing the use of monitoring applications which includes WAN/LAN, applications and server monitoring, reporting, and alerting.

 

What Youll Do

  • Focused Administration of SolarWinds and associated modules, or any other monitoring platform maintained by Wintrust

  • Identify monitoring and alerting gaps and/or optimizations

  • Develop, support, and manage alert definitions, reports, and dashboard views

  • Review and manage service requests submitted through Service Now for monitoring/alerting

  • Review all existing Runbooks every 6 months and meet with technical and business teams to review Runbooks and make recommendations and appropriate adjustments to existing Runbooks

  • Assist in developing other enterprise Monitoring solutions. AppDynamics, PagerDuty, Splunk ITSI

  • Keep up to date on current technologies, industry news, systems compliance requirements, standards, and industry trends

  • Create how-to documentation to be used by the Network Operations Center

 

Qualifications

  • Help desk or other support experience

  • Basic understanding of application settings and administration

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent customer satisfaction acumen
