Scope of leadership role
The Manager II, SIOP will lead supply planning, supplier relationships, and materials management for the Electromagnetic Clutches & Brakes group within the Clutches & Brakes division at Regal Rexnord. This leadership position will focus on improving material flow by balancing demand and supply through the maturity of Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP), demand planning, master scheduling, material planning, inventory management, production control, and logistics processes. The SIOP Manager is accountable for the supply and movement of all materials from their source to the point of use. The SIOP manager will be actively planning and executing together with the local operations teams to achieve productivity and efficiency targets as well as managing risk and generating cost savings to achieve the strategic goals of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a vision and long-term strategy related to the systems, process, and skills roadmap for the future of the SIOP function across the Electromagnetic Clutches & Brakes group within the division that is also aligned with the broader Regal Rexnord organization.

Lead supply chain and materials management initiatives by providing direction and guidance as well as setting clear performance expectations and coaching for excellence for key stakeholders.

Engage with segment level Supply Chain leadership by participating in materials and SIOP councils to ensure alignment in driving standard best practices.

Lead/collaborate with demand planning, product line leadership, engineering, operations and finance teams to drive cross-functional alignment.

Establish a culture focused on continuous process improvements aimed at achieving predictability and efficient materials management operations.

Identify opportunities to develop, improve or simplify processes, guidelines and policies for effective supplier management practices, order fulfillment, inventory management and materials management activities.

Identify business risks and implement resolutions and scalable mechanisms across the in-plant materials management and supply chain management function.

Build and develop relationships at the executive level with suppliers and partners to ensure contractual commitment, alignment, and accountability.

Establish performance monitoring/KPI programs to effectively measure the performance of our internal team and our supply chain.

Manage to ensure the SIOP plan is set in accordance to meet customer expectations and that all manufacturing locations are in line to support it.

Identify and implement total supply chain improvements. Increase supply chain visibility to assist in inventory reduction and on-time delivery. Evaluate networks and pursue systems/process enhancements to reduce costs and improve reliability.

Develop analytics to measure, evaluate, analyze, and take corrective action to continually improve key metrics in materials management and the supply chain.

Champion Regal Business Systems (RBS) methods in material handling and through the supply base.

Responsible for maintaining and improving all aspects of the Materials Management function.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have proven experience in developing collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization. This leader must have the passion, energy and intellectual curiosity necessary for a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
Minimum Requirements:

BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field,preferred.

5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Materials Management for manufacturing.

2+ years of experience within an ERP's materials planning, master scheduling and/or production control modules. Advanced knowledge of ERP/MRP system, specifically Oracle and/or SAP.

5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience, including cross-discipline collaboration, is required.

2+ years of experience in management across geographically distributed locations.

2+ years of change management experience in developing and deploying enterprise-wide initiatives in a matrix organization or experience working in a vertical oriented business with experience in projects across multiple locations.

Travel: Some travel required (approximately 25%)
