POSITION SUMMARY

This role will be on-site hybrid at our Chicago (Rosemont) or Milwaukee office

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Indirect Sourcing, this person will be a critical leader responsible for implementation of sourcing strategies across all Regal Rexnord segments with a focus on Indirect procurement categories.
Project Manager will lead projects spanning Indirect Procurement, supply chain and operations optimization, and procurement synergy. In this role, the individual will lead multiple projects that can vary in complexity across the Regal Rexnord Enterprise. The project manager will oversee the work related to all functions over the duration of the project. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, able to multi-task, and a good problem solver with common sense and a practical approach to problems.
You will bring your demonstrated history of quickly building and leveraging relationships in a matrixed environment, working collaboratively to ensure team performance, and successfully influencing a variety of business stakeholders at all levels.
Monitor and troubleshoot various issues that arise from stakeholders and vendors. Develop trust within the business so that where there are conflicting priorities or other issues you can ensure that all involved understand the issues and agree with the solutions put forward

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A blend of Project and Procurement Management responsibilities
Responsible for negotiating long and short-term strategic sourcing project across multiple categories while achieving cost savings and cost alignment with job budgets and the timely procurement of products and services
Responsible for assembling project teams globally, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
Work with Indirect category managers to identify the project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team and communicate to all impacted shareholders.
Identify changes to the project scope, balance project constraints and communicate to leadership the impact to budget and schedule.
Recognize when problems, technical or otherwise, are developing in a way that threatens the budget or schedule and take corrective actions to mitigate the problem.
Represent the project team at project meetings and executive report outs, responding to questions, identifying action items and following up as needed.
Prepare detailed project plans, action plans, estimates, schedules and forecasts as well as communicate project status.
Use Visual Management to track status, compliance to schedule, responsibility, budget, risks and issues on each project.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science degree in supply chain management, engineering, or industrial management or MBA in supply chain management or related required.
Proven track record of a minimum of 5 years of Procurement and/or supply chain Management, preferably in for a manufacturing company.
Experience with development of strategic sourcing processes and development of a strategic sourcing team. Sourcing for Industrial Manufacturing a plus. APICS certification preferred.
Demonstrated ability to drive productivity and compliance throughout a complex organization.
Ability to support multifaced business requirements established by each Segment. Comfortable working in a results-oriented environment with broad base of business requirements.
Ability to think strategically, conceptually, and analytically to assess problems, identify and consider potential solutions, and make timely recommendations.
Business and Operational Segmentation experience; 80/20 experience preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, interact, and influence at all levels of the organization to drive results.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellence in generating accurate and understandable data and reports to analyze performance to make data-driven decisions.
Proven ability to develop trusted, respectful relationships internally and externally.
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
High level of personal initiative, energy and ownership of business results.
Strong Computer skills: Microsoft Office applications required. Knowledge of Oracle a plus.
Travel: Up to 30%
