SUMMARY: The Product Line Manager will have overall responsibility and accountability for the performance of a Product Line.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Carry out tactical and operational objectives to support the distribution of a product line

+ Work with the manufacturing partner and sales team to bring technical product support to the end customer

+ Execute product line strategy by engaging with the sales team and customers to receive and analyze product feedback

+ Perform inventory forecasting and planning in accordance with a set budget

+ Manage inventory placement in foreign warehouses

+ Manages operational issues with receiving, quality control, and shipping

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

+ Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ 3-5 years’ experience in account management, sales, product management, engineering, manufacturing or inventory planning required.

+ Prior experience in the aviation industry a plus.

+ Prior direct supervisory experience a plus.
