About the role:

As part of US Oncology Marketing team, you will report to Head of Marketing, US Oncology and work with internal and external stakeholders.

How you will contribute:

+ Identify and prioritize Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and be their commercial relationship partner. Understand KOL sentiment and develop and implement robust cross functional engagement plans.

+ Lead/support Commercial Ad Boards to generate insights to sharpen or adapt commercial strategies and implementation.

+ Utilize Veeva Link tools to elevate planning and engagement.

+ Identify and maintain Speaker bureau, including communication and relationship partner.

+ Lead and partner with marketing and sales teams on Peer-to-Peer Strategy, including but not limited to In Practice Programs, congress podiums & sponsorships.

+ Peer-to-Peer In Practice Programs Vendor identification and planning.

+ Peer-to-Peer brand budget owner.

+ Drive strategic approach to tier 2 and 3 congress strategy, including leading cross functional pre-congress engagement collaborate, at congress engagements and insight generation and post congress insight inclusion into brand strategy and implementation.

+ Identify key podium opportunities at tier 3congresses.

+ Utilize Veeva Link tools for congress engagement planning and cross functional collaboration.

+ Serve as KOL expert on Integrated Brand Team, leading the KOL workstream and involvement in Quarterly Business Reviews.

+ Strong partnership with sales, marketing, account, payer and medical teams to identify cross functional KOL and Health Care Provider (HCP) engagement opportunities.

+ Be data obsessed and ensure that initiatives have measurable appropriate impact.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

+ 7-10 years’ experience in Sales, Account Management and/or Marketing Product Management required.

+ 5+ years’ relevant therapeutic oncology or rare disease with increasing job responsibilities preferred.

+ Some marketing experience or cross-matrix project leadership required; implementation of marketing programs and patient education at the local level preferred.

+ Experience working in Oncology or rare disease therapeutic areas preferred.

+ Prior experience managing marketing/advertising/promotion budgets preferred.

+ Active Hematology / Oncology KOL relationships is a plus.

+ Successful track record in pharmaceutical marketing or equivalent.

+ Candidates must possess the ability to proactively analyze business problems, identify key issues, develop solutions, implement tactical programs, and design metrics to measure business impact.

+ Strategic thinker with the ability to visualize, develop and implement effective marketing tactics.

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, influence, and lead with both internal and external customers.

+ Proven track record of collaboration working with cross-functional groups made up of one or more of the following: Marketing, Marketing Effectiveness, Reimbursement, Sales, Global Medical Affairs, Market Research or Finance.

+ Dynamic, self-starter with ability to effectively work remotely.

Travel Requirements:

+ Ability to travel at least 50% of the time which may include weekends (varies dependent on geographic area).

+ Expectation of at least 3-4 days per month will be spent in Cambridge office.

For Location:

Massachusetts – Virtual

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$149,100.00 – $234,300.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.?The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
