Position Overview

At Navistar, we’re in it for the long haul and if you love to sell, we want to speak with you! We are currently seeking a Regional Truck Sales Manager for our West Region. The candidate will be responsible for leading sales efforts in a designated territory to promote and sell the company’s products and services through dealer channels. They will be part of a team that appreciates the Navistar product and customer solutions, supporting the closure of customer opportunities! The candidate’s expertise will help expand the Navistar brand at conferences and with future customers.Must be able to travel 75% of the time, and the territory includes: Arizona, Alaska, California, and Washingto

Must reside in Arizona, Alaska, California or Washington

Responsibilities

+ Present consultative strategies and solutions directly to customers and prospects

+ Work closely with our dealers and other internal groups to ensure smooth transactions

+ Manage the relationship with dealers to make the customer experience the best in the industry

+ Responsible for sales leadership, selling the company’s products or services, achieving sales results, executing the organization’s sales plan to grow businesses and margins, developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics, and expanding accounts

+ Serve as a knowledgeable resource on company products and services, and introduce new offerings

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ At least 8 years of sales experience

+ At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

+ Master’s degree

+ At least 6 years of sales experience

+ At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

+ At least 10 years of sales experience

+ At least 1 year of lead experience

Additional Requirements

+ Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
