Role Summary/Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Solution Architect Manager to lead Servicing Engineering Microservices initiatives. This role involves leading multiple agile team’s tech leads to build highly reliable and scalable microservices for various channels. Another major aspect of this role is to oversee the governance of servicing microservices and serve as the Real-Time Services (RTS) leader for microservices

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Develop and communicate a clear vision for Microservice Architecture aligned with business goals and technical requirements.

+ Define Architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines for microservice development.

+ Identify opportunities to leverage microservices to improve agility, scalability, and Reliability of system.

+ Lead the design and implementation of microservice-based solutions, considering the factors such as Scalability, fault tolerance, security, and performance for IT servicing channels like IVR and Agent Facing systems.

+ Evaluate new technologies, tools, and automation process to improve effectiveness of Microservice architecture and our systems.

+ Provide Technical guidance and mentorship to architects and developers to ensure adherence to architecture principles and standards of servicing channels.

+ Collaborate with Product Managers, Product owners, Business stakeholders, and other teams to understand requirement and translate them into effective microservice and Micro frontend solutions.

+ Identify solutions to reduce developer dwell time and auto provision resources and automate the repetitive tasks.

+ Define & lead the testing strategies and identify solutions to automate testing and track the testing metrics.

+ Establish quality assurance processes and metrics to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of microservice-based systems.

+ Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address issues in production environments.

+ Conduct Architecture reviews to maintain consistency across the microservices.

+ Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science/engineering or related field, with a minimum of 12 years of experience in Information Technology OR in lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED and 15 years of IT experience.

+ 5 years proven experience in software architecture with a focus on Microservice Architecture.

+ Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS, VMware PCF, and container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.

+ Proficiency in programing using Java, J2ee, Groovy, Maven, Gradle, SpringBoot, hibernate, NodeJs, React, Bitbucket, Github, Jenkins. CircleCI or any other Continuous integration tools.

+ Strong experience is Monitoring tools like NewRelic or AppDynamics.

+ Strong experience in database design, SQL programing, Relational Databases and NoSQL Databases.

+ Experience in agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

+ Proven analytical, and problem-solving skills.

+ Strong business acumen including a broad understanding of financial services business processes and practices.

+ Previous Servicing Channels Integration experience like Interactive voice response Systems.

+ Working Knowledge with API Gateway and understanding the identity and access management systems.

Grade/Level: 13

The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 – 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

+ You must be 18 years or older

+ You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

+ You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

+ You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

+ New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
