We are in search of a meticulous Business Analyst to join our team in the non-profit sector, situated in Chicago, Illinois. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in performing QA testing activities, operating independently, and delivering high-quality written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

- Analyze and interpret complex data to assist in decision making

- Conduct manual QA testing around regression and UAT testing activities

- Utilize JIRA or similar tools for tracking test cases and defects

- Coordinate with both onshore development teams and business teams

- Operate within an Agile environment, leveraging methodologies such as Kanban

- Apply strong skills around requirements and QA/testing documentation

- Perform Business Analyst and QA duties for Web and Mobile (iOS and Android) applications

- Utilize skills in Atlassian Jira, Database, EO/IR systems, Gap Analysis, Informatica, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, Design, Detailed Business Requirements, Manual Testing

- Be proactive and self-driven in all tasks and responsibilities.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Non-Profit sector

- Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management and tracking

- Demonstrated understanding and experience in managing databases

- Proficient in conducting Gap Analysis to improve business processes

- Familiarity with Informatica tools for data integration

- Experience in AB Testing for improving user experience

- Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and its application in project management

- Knowledge of Business Process Functions and their role in organizational efficiency

- Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents

- Strong skills in Design and visualization of business processes

- Experience in writing Detailed Business Requirements for project implementation

- Proficiency in Manual Testing of software or system changes.
