Field Application Specialist

In this role, you will provide Philips Disease Management Solution (DMS) product training and education to customers on assigned DMS product base using curriculum and assessment processes based on the sales order configuration. Responsible for providing hands-on and didactic training at customer sites and remotely to a physician and technologist audience. This is a home-based position and 100% travel for on-site applications support is required. The successful candidate must be located within a 1-hour commute time to a major hub airport (not regional).

Your role:

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Developing and administering training plans to fulfill obligations of order that ensures customer competency on fMRI, DynaCAD, UroNav, Lung Cancer Solution, and Sentinelle Coils

+ Driving revenue through execution of on-site delivery targets.

+ Providing consultative educational support to customers- driving customer productivity and competency using tactical and didactic training methods.

+ Ability to demonstrate product expertise during clinical training and customer support.

+ Work in a fast-paced environment providing Clinical Support on DMS product line

+ Supporting new product implementations (NPIs) by working with Sales and Marketing teams. Responsibilities include cross training colleagues on NPI products via team meetings, remote/onsite shadowing, peer to peer training.

+ Completes all administrative tasks and paper work per organization policy and produces written comprehensive trip reports, expense reports, and weekly schedules.

+ Works effectively using proactive communication with internal team- Field Service Specialists, Customer Service Center, Sales Representatives, Clinical Specialists, Customers, in-house Quality Assurance, R&D, and Manufacturing personnel to enhance Customer experience.

You are a good fit if:

Education and Experience:

+ Minimum of BS/BA or Associates Degree in Radiology required.

+ MUST : Maintain professional credential (Registered Technologist with ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) AND possess an advanced registry in MR or CT OR possess general ultrasound certification with ARDMS . Imaging experience and familiarity with digital imaging workstations preferred

+ Experience in troubleshooting computer, software, networking and basic DICOM knowledge

+ Strong interpersonal, customer and management skills; ability to work in high-pressure environments

+ Excellent change management skills.

+ Ability to work cohesively and effectively across teams, departments, and businesses at all levels of an organization.

+ Advanced knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, pathology, and physiology.

+ Able to make decisions using sound judgment, operate independently, and take initiative.

+ Strong project management skills.

+ Strong conflict management and influencing skills.

+ Clinical knowledge of modality specific workflow and implementation including current trends in the clinical setting.

+ Strong teaching, coaching and mentoring skills delivered in the learning style which best suits the situation.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

+ 90% travel required by car, air, and/or train, including overnight stays and occasional international travel.

+ Job operates in the hospital/medical environment and remotely from home office location.

+ Potential exposure to hazardous physical, chemical, radiological and biological agents, loud noise, and strong magnetic fields.

+ Continually talk, hear, see (depth perception), and view computers.

+ Frequently sit, stand, and stoop.

+ Frequently lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

+ Occasionally twist, climb stairs, kneel, and grasp.

+ Frequent repetitive hand movements.

+ You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.?

Desired Characteristics:

+ 10 or more years clinical experience in MR/CT or Ultrasound. Familiarity with image generation and data analysis tools

+ Excellent customer service, presentation and written and verbal communication skills

+ Advanced computer and Microsoft Office skills.

+ Innovative analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, critical thinking, organization, and priority setting skills.

+ Advanced knowledge of clinical applications and post processing products.

+ Advanced software, data, and hardware/software system troubleshooting experience

+ Superior interpersonal and communication skills, professional disposition and demeanor.

Additional Information

+ May be required to adhere to certification/credentialing required by the customer in connection with admission into its facilities to perform job duties. Customer requirements may include, but are not limited to, drug testing and immunizations as dictated by the customer or facility policy.

+ This is a remote/home-based position. Candidates must be located near a major (non-regional) airport (within a 1 hour drive) to be considered.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $74,750.00 – $138,000.00, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
