Work you’ll do

Patch service distributes security patches to US Deloitte server assets to mitigate risk and to maintain a strong security posture against any threats. The service works in collaboration with the DT Global Vulnerability Management Service. Work with Cyber Teams identifying patches each month and assigning priority as per approved standards. The Server Security – Patch service encompasses patching deployment and ongoing operations: configuring and installing identified and approved patches, logging and reporting patch activity, and overall compliance. It also assists with the remediation of missing patches and patch compatibility issues.

Responsibilities:

+ Setup and Maintain the Patching infrastructure for the US member firms 30,000+ Servers.

+ Centralized Solution Operations and Management: The service delivers a standard process, dedicated team, common toolsets for patching Windows & Linux operating system servers and certain commonly used third-party applications and integrates with other teams and functions.

+ Linux Patching with Big Fix Toolset management (i.e., access, updates, etc.)

+ Cloud Server Patching in AWS, AZURE, GCP.

+ Windows Patching with SCCM Toolset management (i.e., access, updates, etc.)

+ Reporting on Server Inventory and Patching Compliance: The service creates and maintains operational report for US Firm with details on server inventory, overall patch compliance, detailed patch information based on vulnerability severity and actionable insights to verify and remediate non-compliant assets.

+ Server patch compliance dashboards with details on server inventory and non-compliant assets.

+ Communications and Exceptions: The service delivers communication via multiple channels to US Member Firm to ensure awareness, business flexibility, and support during patch cycles. The service offers a self-service patch scheduling, exclusion, and management feature for Member Firms to provide flexibility needed by Deloitte businesses while ensuring a high level of security patch compliance. For systems that cannot be patched due to business impacts, the service manages exceptions and alternative patching options.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration

+ Minimum 8 total years various technology related experience

+ Minimum 3 years of experience patching infrastructure with technology background: Windows & Linux operating system servers, AWS, AZURE

+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Cloud Certifications AWS AZURE GCP

+ Linux, Windows Certifications

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93000 to $191000
