What Software & Information Platforms contributes to Cardinal Health

Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.

Software & Information Platforms manages the technical configuration, design, administration, development, implementation and support of application and information frameworks that the organization’s application solutions utilize. This job family partners with Application Development & Maintenance teams and other Information Technology function teams to identify enhancements for platforms and long-term capabilities.

Responsibilities

+ Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills

+ Acts as a business partner for the Controlled Substances Monitoring Program (CSMP) Business team.

+ Confers and establishes partnerships with end users, technology teams, and vendors (strong business acumen)

+ Frequently interacts with Agile squads, customers, and peer groups at various management levels Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution.

+ Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) preferred

+ Act as subject matter expert for Pharmacy Customer Data (PCD) team to build additional capabilities within existing applications (e.g. Quickbase, CSMS DDR [Due Diligence “Customer Reviewer”], etc)

+ Ability to work independently or via a team collaboration process

+ Demonstrates appropriate interpersonal skills to manage and deliver exceptional customer service.

+ Prioritizes effectively and escalates as needed

Qualifications

+ 4-8 years of experience preferred

+ BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field. Advance Degree preferred

+ Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects

+ Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives

+ May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Anticipated salary range: $92,100 – $131,600
