Job overview and responsibilities

The Salesforce Technical Lead plays a meaningful role in crafting and maintaining the strategic partnership between business needs and technology delivery. The Salesforce Technical Lead role is to plan, design, develop and launch efficient systems and solutions in support of core organizational functions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues, opportunities or problems in order to improve the benefit of IT and Business investments. This individual should be experienced and self – sufficient in performing their responsibilities requiring little supervision, but general mentorship and direction.

+ Leads the design, development, and planning for solutions and technology standards to tackle sophisticated business problems

+ Hands-on development, support and troubleshoot software systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutions

+ Ensures that systems are accurately coordinated

+ Consults across multiple United Information Technology projects and technology areas to perform troubleshooting, problem management, root-cause analysis, and solution implementation

+ Serves as a resource for technology/project development review and technical evaluation

+ Ensures that the technical solutions meet the customers’ business goals

+ Provide consultation and technical leadership in project life cycle planning

+ Ensures consistency and coherence to the enterprise standards and guiding principles throughout the application lifecycle

+ Sees opportunities to leverage/influence the direction for existing infrastructure and application components

+ Stays on top of industry trends through benchmarking, participation in professional associations etc. in order to advise others of strategic technology direction

+ Provides feedback to the enterprise technology owners and architects regarding future solution needs

+ Understands and applies the enterprise vision and strategy to the project solution while balancing tactical needs to deliver

+ Partner with various business and IT team members in defining domain architecture strategy

+ Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of application architecture and architecture constructs as it connects to the enterprise architecture

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or Business

+ 6+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use

+ 4+ years of experience in Salesforce custom development (At least 2 years in a technical lead role)

+ Strong knowledge and understanding of Salesforce application architecture, Governor’s limit, and development components such as Visual Force, SOQL, Apex Classes and Triggers, JQuery, APIs, Process Builder, Approval process, etc.

+ Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce as a Developer (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)

+ Experience using source control and continuous integration

+ Experience with service integrations with SOAP and REST API

+ Experience with relational database design and development

+ Experience in Salesforce based UI development including custom Javascript and CSS.

+ Self -starter who takes initiative and is proactive

+ Ability to prioritize a high volume of tasks

+ Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including management and end-users.

+ Coding and on time delivery of quality components and/or applications

+ Component and unit testing of following standard practices and methodologies

+ Utilizing the technologies and domain knowledge with the delivery of developed components or integrated components and triage or analysis of situations for production support

+ Effective participant of requirements gathering, requirements analysis

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Preferred

+ Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems

+ Salesforce Certifications

+ Using Angular JS based UI pages in Salesforce Visualforce pages.

+ Airlines industry experience

+ Prior .NET development experience
