+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

+ Proven and solid experience in software development, with expertise in Java, Java Script and a strong understanding of web technologies.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

+ Knowledge of software development methodologies and practices.

+ Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

+ Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development tools.

+ Experience with database management systems and web development is a plus.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, your key responsibilities include:

+ Software Development: Design, code, test, and maintain software applications in accordance with industry best practices and team standards.

+ Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements, ensuring that solutions align with business objectives.

+ Coding: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in various programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails) and technologies.

+ Testing: Develop and execute unit & integration tests and participate in integration and system testing to ensure software quality and functionality.

+ Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, architecture, and user guides.

+ Collaboration: Collaborate (with clear communication) with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products.

+ Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.

+ Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve software defects and issues as they arise, providing timely support to end-users.

+ Security: Implement security best practices and protocols to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

+ Scalability: Contribute to the scalability and performance optimization of software applications.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
