Robert Half is partnering with a highly esteemed personal injury law firm specializing in motor vehicle accidents who is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This position is downtown Chicago requiring a presence in office 5 days a week with hybrid flexibility offered after 6 months of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Effectively managing a caseload of 50-75 cases

+ Accurately drafting demand letters, pleadings, discovery, and various motions

+ Regularly communicating with clients, counsel, experts, and courts

+ Auditing cases for all expenses, including medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, and subrogation liens

+ Accurately maintaining case management data in Needles (case management database)

+ Preparing trial documents and assisting with trial preparation

Qualifications:

+ Proficient in personal injury law, specifically involving motor vehicle collisions

+ Proficient in preparing discovery responses

+ Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation

+ Experience with trucking-related cases is preferred
