What is the job about?

Grundfos is looking for a Sales Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will facilitate top-funnel activities (stakeholder mapping, prospection, outreach & documentation) related to End-User Global Key Accounts in F&B, Pharma and Mobility. The core aim is to ensure the right stakeholders are engaged and connected with Key Account Managers to enhance customer relationships and ensure customer growth.

This role is remote and can be based anywhere in the USA.

Your main responsibilities:

+ Collaborate with Key Account Managers to define & reach designated stakeholders and set the team for success up by providing qualified leads and ensure continuous progress within designated accounts.

+ Plan and implement scheduled activities with Key Account Managers to support customer acquisition & growth.

+ Identify, outreach & qualify customer stakeholders to ensure the Account Manager is well positioned throughout the sales process.

+ Engage with internal & external stakeholders while ensuring consistency in the Key Account Manager approach & process.

+ Work as a bridge between Regional & Key Account Sales teams.

+ Document progress & activities though meeting minutes, SAP CRM.

Your background:

As an ideal candidate, you would have good communication skills, and be able to communicate both verbally and written to a range of stakeholders at various levels, including internationally .

We imagine that you have:

+ A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 5+ years of relevant experience.

+ Prior experience as a sales/business development representative with direct experience in Key Account Management.

+ Strong research and customer service skills such as cold calling and door knocking in initiating contact with potential new customers.

+ Previous experience in identifying and qualifying decision-makers through prospection & discovery.

+ Internal & external stakeholder management.

+ Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.

+ Applying sales excellence into practice.

+ Proficient in English, fluency in Spanish is beneficial.

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.
