Your Impact:

The Growth Business Solution Engineer is an exciting role working strategically with high growth customers with a market cap up to $1B to position Oracle Cloud Applications. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about helping customers transform their business and exceed their goals. You must be passionate about selling value, positioning product differentiation, and sharing best practices processes and technology.

You’ll be responsible for creating and delivering compelling, highly interactive, solution presentations and product demonstrations that inspire customers to fall in love with modern Cloud Applications software while conveying how it will improve overall customer productivity.

Essentials of the Role:

The top candidate will have experience as a SaaS Solution Engineer or will have worked directly with Oracle applications on a day-to-day basis, but not required. They are proactive and passionate about making an impact and can adjust easily to evolving demands. They are an exceptional communicator, coach, collaborator, and colleague. They love to learn and love to give back to others!

Skills & Characteristics

+ High Impact Communicator : Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal, face to face, and virtual) that are compelling, persuasive, and inspiring. A master translator that conveys the complex in simple terms during customer meetings, presentations, and demonstrations throughout the sales cycle. Establishes credibility with key stakeholders while continuously selling value. Understands the competitive landscape and positions solution strengths accordingly. Proficient in solution selling methodology and modern presentation tools.

+ Domain Expert: Breadth and depth of Oracle Cloud Application processes and technology. Acts as a “Go To” resource on customer engagements and within the solution engineering community. Provides coaching to less experienced Solution Engineers and Sales Reps.

+ Master of Complexity – Works on multiple, comprehensive, customer pre-sales engagements at a time. A skilled planner with strong organization skills. Maintains a high level of productivity while adapting quickly to changing priorities and needs.

+ Performance Drive & Execution: Proactive, acts with a sense of urgency. Self-motivated and self-aware. Works independently without direction. Always looking for —-what’s next". Has a growth mindset and a zeal for continuous learning.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Experience

+ 3+ years SaaS Cloud pre-sales solution selling experience preferred.

+ 5+ years business experience in Human Capital Management cloud software applications.

+ Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in the area of specialization.

+ Thorough knowledge of system and application design & knowledge of competitors.

+ Demonstrated project management and leadership skills.

+ Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills needs analysis, positioning/messaging, business value and justification, and compelling/closing techniques.

+ Ability to effectively persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.

+ Travel as needed, up to 50%.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $38.85 to $85.67 per hour; from $80,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 – 80/20.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
