We are seeking a diligent Administrative Assistant for our operations based in Chicago, Illinois. This role primarily focuses on providing exceptional administrative support, answering inbound calls, and offering high-quality customer service. The successful candidate will also be expected to handle data entry tasks and email correspondence, making this a varied and engaging role within our team.

Responsibilities:

- Support with accounting functions including A/P, A/R and more.

- Efficiently answer inbound calls and address customer inquiries

- Provide exemplary customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all callers

- Accurately handle data entry tasks, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correctly input into our system

- Manage email correspondence, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner

- Support the sales team by scheduling appointments, and managing their calendars

- Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word for various administrative tasks

- Utilize JBoss and JobBOSS software for specific job functions

- Assist with accounting tasks, applying basic accounting principles where necessary

- Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing information and assistance as required

- Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring all tasks are completed within set deadlines.

Requirements

- Proven experience in an accounting role

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

- Excellent customer service skills, including answering inbound and outbound calls

- Ability to handle data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency

- Proficient in managing email correspondence and scheduling appointments

- Knowledge of JBoss and JobBOSS systems is advantageous

- Familiarity with basic accounting principles

- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- High level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial in this role

- Must have a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
