Mechanic Job Description
A reputable manufacturing company is currently seeking a Mechanic specializing in the assembly, testing, disassembly, inspection, and painting of enclosed drive gearboxes. This role involves:
+ Performing assembly and testing tasks in designated departments.
+ Disassembling and inspecting gearboxes as required.
+ Collaborating with Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve assembly and test issues promptly.
+ Providing feedback to Engineering on discrepancies, drawing errors, and quality issues to prevent recurrence.
Candidates should possess:
+ Physical capabilities: walking, standing, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and manual dexterity.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
+ Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred. This role offers an opportunity to join a collaborative team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Pay Details: $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
