Looking for immediate Warehouse Lead for 2nd shift in Wheeling, IL

Monitor the preparation and processing of outbound shipments. Manage daily plan to meet and exceed productivity and accuracy. Provide leadership and develop the distribution team to provide unparalleled customer service and act as communication liaison between international/domestic distribution management.

Essential functions

+ Maintain inventory by placing finished products in stock, recording location, quantity, and lot number of inventory.

+ Control inventory by physical counts and reconciling with the inventory system.

+ Monitory accuracy of import/export paperwork and special customer requirements.

+ Provide information during customer and regulatory audits as required.

+ Assure maximum utilization of resources to meet the scheduled due dates for product availability.

+ Serve as a communications link between management and the department to assure quality information flow.

+ Monitor communication and information flow between distribution and customer service.

+ Alert management of any capacity constraints that have a potential to adversely affect the service levels.

+ Balance throughout by scheduling resources and equipment to ensure attainment of established goals.

+ Provide effective leadership and coaching to members of the department, including goal setting, performance feedback and salary administration.

+ Provide adequate training and close coaching for the department employees to establish product awareness and understanding, GMP compliance and quality standards.

+ Maintain an environment of fairness; challenge and support to foster job effectiveness, sense of direction, and wellbeing for department employees.

+ Respond to all employee concerns in a timely and efficient manner.

+ Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.

+ Work overtime when requested to meet departmental needs or deadlines.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
