Responsible for working within a Middle Office function supporting regulatory reporting, data quality assurance and driving requirements on multiple projects across a complex investment and hedge portfolio. The Business Analysis function plays a key role ensuring the Front and Back Office is supported with controls identifying risks and solutions across securities and derivatives. The Business Analysis Partner will help define scope, create requirements and will be a liaison between business partners and Engineering (IT) for key initiatives.

Major Duties

  • As subject matter expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level.
  • Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas in
  • Carries out data quality controls that impact regulatory reporting and are technically difficult
  • Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, with a focus on portfolio composition, market data and valuations that impact financial and regulatory reporting
  • Conducts portfolio, repository and valuation analysis on an on-going basis and identifies risks and gaps to business partners within Treasury Operations and to our stakeholders
  • Works closely with our Treasury Back Office Team executing on regulatory and audit deliverables
  • Collaborates with Senior Partners helping with business continuity planning/testing, resiliency and RCSA analyses.

Qualifications

  • A College or University degree and 2+ years relevant proven work experience
  • Exposure and understanding of Risk, Audit and Compliance factors
  • In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required specific to fixed income derivatives and securities
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change
  • Experience with business process and/or technology enhancement initiatives
  • Strong Microsoft Excel / PowerBi skills
