Job Description

In the role of Sr. Java Full stack Developer, This position's primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, Illinois or be willing to relocate to the area.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience of Solution Design, Development and Deployment of working on Java, J2EE Technologies, Springboot, Microservices, REACTJS, Database - RDBMS
• Working experience and in-depth knowledge in APIs, Restful services and Messaging integration.
• Experience and Knowledge in Azure Cloud services
• In-depth exposure to Scrum Ceremonies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience in Full-stack application development using Java EE, Spring framework (SpringBoot), ReactJS, and Microservices.
• At least 6 years of Experience and Knowledge in Azure Cloud services
• Experience in improving application functionality to meet changing business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in creating high-level and detailed design specifications.
• Experience in developing new apps and enhancing existing portals.
• Experience in implementing new functionality or enhancing existing functionalities and Knowledge in Performing unit testing
• Experience in Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the work completes on time
• Meeting timelines and quality as required by the project and driven by SLA's

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
