Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your Responsibilities:
FUCHS Specialty Division is seeking a Field Service Engineer to bring added value services to our Sales Engineers in the field. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Performing Engineering Surveys to help determine lubrication solutions that will benefit the customers.
Perform lubricant surveys and provide recommendations on consolidation of lubricants to sales engineers and custom-ers.
Performing predictive maintenance activities like temperature readings, vibration analysis, and oil analysis
Performing where needed a detailed Lubrication Audits that will give customers an idea on how they comply with the Food Safety Modernization Act and what actions may be needed to comply with this law.
Working with the local Sales Engineer to construct customer proposals showing proposed benefits based on their actual conditions, including 5s implementation.
Assisting in the implementation of lubrication programs with various customers.
Developing Performance Documentation (Case Studies) to show the benefits we provide to customers.
Travel:
60-80% national travel required.

Qualifications we are looking for:
Bachelors degree in a technical field desired. (Chemistry, Engineering, etc.)
5+ years experience in maintenance in the food/beverage, cement industry desired.
Condition monitoring experience preferred.
Ability to write a solid technical report to be presented to the customer.
Ability to travel frequently on short notice.
Excellent attention to detail.
